2014 September, Marco & María attended as the official representatives of Spain to World Fashion Exhibition. The event took place in the Maison de L’Amerique Latine of Paris. The legendary fashion icon Jimmy Choo was honoured for his outstanding contribution of a lifetime dedicated to the promotion of the arts and fashion sciences.
The designers created a very special wedding dress for this ocassion. A dress made with the silk of an old World War II parachute. The dress was auctioned in benefit of ONG Mundo Cooperante.
Thanks to the generosity of the actual owner this jewel was able to be seen in the 25th memorial fashion show of Gaudí in Barcelona. A wonderful ocassion for Marco Marrero y Maria Diaz to re-design this dress and embroider it by hand with more than 500 Swarosvsky crystals.
