On October 24th, our designers Marco Marrero and María Díaz received the Taburiente Award, an international prize from the Diario de Avisos Foundation, one of the eldest Canarian journals. The Marco&María team is very proud of this achievement, which values their journey through excellence, uniqueness, and leadership.
The award gala took place in the Teatro Guimerá, a historical place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It was an emotional event in which solidarity, science, fashion, investigation, music, cinema, literature, journalism, and entrepreneurship were recognised. It’s an honour for us to have our creative directors awarded this prize (born in 2015) that has also rewarded figures like designer Manolo Blahnik or Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.
